My Top Songs of 2008 [Mandarin]

Hardly listened to mandarin music in 2008, and there weren't too many good releases, methinks. Could only squeeze out 11 songs. Shall find the time to listen to the rest of Jay Chou's, Tanya's and Fish's albums....

11. Zhuan Ji - Wilber Pan

I would love to put him higher, but I had only 2 [not-exactly-very-good] songs to choose from. Hopefully the 2009 release will contain better material.

10. Ru Guo Neng Zai Yi Qi - Fish Leong

09. Da Er Wen - Tanya Chua

Profound and witty lyrics. The real queen of Singaporean mandopop. Please move aside, Stef.

08. Gei Wei Lai De Zi Ji - Fish Leong

07. Shuo Hao De Xing Fu Ne - Jay Chou

06. Wo Zou Tian Qiao No Zou Di Xia Dao - Derrick Hoh

05. *** Hu Xi De Tong - Fish Leong

04. Yan Lei Xiao Le - Jade Liu

First time I ever like a mandopop song from China.

03. Wu Fa Gui Lei - Derrick Hoh

02. Ca Jian Er Guo - Sam Lee

Gosh, for the whole year, I really thought that I would be putting him at the top, but....

after checking that the following song peaked at #1 on 1003 charts in the 1st week of 2008, I feel that I must feature it at the top spot.

01. Chong Bai - Fish Leong

Congrats Fish Leong for claiming her first ever annual #1.
